Serina Verity Thresh daughter of Carmen and Scott was christened at St Mary’s Church in Barnsley on the 28 April 2019. Her dress had been made from Carmen’s wedding dress train.

We had family coming from Cambridge and the Republic of South Africa.

Serina was very good during the sermon as she was having long conversations with the Padre while he delivering the said sermon. All was going well until came the time for the actual christening and she was not going to get any Holy Water poured over her head.

The priest, who by coincidence also born in Southern Africa,  did the christening by doing the cross sign on Serina with fingers dipped in Holy Water. She did not mind that too much.

All photos were taken by us  although family members had also taken some with mobile which were downloaded on FaceBook before ours and one has to admit that some were very good.
